AHS Band Trailer

I was contacted by Greg Brown from the Arlington High School Colt Band Booster Club about decorating their new 24’ trailer. They were having a customized trailer built to carry band equipment to football games and contests.  Hey, in Texas, the next biggest thing to HS Football is HS Band!!

Their trailer wasn’t quite ready, so I visited the manufacturer to get some pictures and measurements.  When the trailer arrived, we settled on a layout for the Booster Club to review and I was soon cutting vinyl for this project.  It was a fun one and challenging too with all of those 3/8” diameter fasteners all over the place.

I used White and Medium Green Vinyl on the dark green trailer (yes, the photos make it look almost black).  For added effect, I used White Reflective vinyl on the rear of the trailer and hoped that there were not going to be any accidents at night with those huge glowing horseshoes!

Watch for the trailer in local parades and at football games!

A note from Greg Brown, AHS Colt Band Booster Club-

“The trailer and all your hard work on it was a resounding success!!   The membership was especially impressed with the horse graphic (because it was so intricate) and the lettering (they really liked the font and the green on white layout)!”

“Congratulations and Thank You for such wonderful work!!”

“P.S.  The Drum Line will be performing at the Chick-Fil-A at South Cooper and Bardin on Thursday 3/13 from 5:30 until about 7:00 PM for a fund raiser. The trailer will be there on display (told you they were proud of it!) so stop by and I'll introduce you to some the folks!”

These are some follow-on projects for a band fund-raiser. The top image is a window decal (approximately 4 x 8).
